The Medical Research Centre "Immunculus"

The Medical Research Centre "Immunculus" is a biotechnological company which develops innovative technologies in the field of medicine and molecular biology. The MRC "Immunkulus" was organized in 2000 by Professor Alexander Poletaev who founded and developed a new direction in immunology in Russia - the study of the physiological role of natural autoantibodies. The medical centre consists of two complementary divisions: immuno-biochemical laboratory of molecular medicine and outpatient clinic.

The most important research of the MRC "Immunculus" is connected with the development of new immunological and biotechnological methods of diagnostics and treatment, their implementation in practice of modern medicine, as well as diagnosing and offering consultative medical care in general therapy, cardiology, endocrinology, neurology, immunology, gastroenterology, pediatrics, oncology, obstetrics and gynecology.

During the years of intensive work the methods of immunochemical diagnostics under the general name of «Тechnology "Immunculus" – ELI-Tests» have been developed and introduced into clinical laboratory practice. We cooperate successfully with the leading specialists of medical educational institutes, including the Russian State Medical University, the Moscow Regional Scientific Research Institute of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia, the Research Institute of Pediatrics and Pediatric Surgery, the Institute of Cardiovascular Surgery n.a. A. M. Bakulev, Kazan State Medical Academy and other.

Since 2004 the general director and co-founder of the MRC "Immunculus" has been Oleg Krylov. Under his guidance the diagnostic test-systems (used in technology "Immunculus") were certified and registered in the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation and the diagnostic clinic "Immunity and Health" was established as a clinical training centre. The technology "Immunculus" has been introduced into the medical services market. Numerous clinics both in Moscow and throughout Russia have become the centre’s partners. In 2009 the technology "Immunculus" received the European Certificate which made it possible to start international cooperation.
